How can I remove 717 WUs from my stats?
One month (09.07) I had a problem with my clients on one computer leaving it to run for 0% then send the WU back, getting a new. This contined for a long while. I look in the stats and I had 717 WUs that month, unlike my regular maybe 20-40 WUs (probably less, it's taken right out of the head). Now, I like to view my stats without the 717 WUs. I don't think it's fair for me to display that many when I've only got 92 000 points. Where can I ask someone to remove them? Who do I contact? Is this the official forum?
I fold with: 9800GX2, 8800 GS, 1,3GHz Athlon and 1,8GHz Athlon 64

Re: Where can I add to remove 717 WUs from my stats?
Not gonna happen. The project team has stressed many times that stats will never be modified once they are recorded.

As noted above, all stats are final, project policy. The scientists are more productive doing the science of the project than answering a million user requests to correct/edit/change points.
And unlike some of the other DC Forums, this seperation allows us to be fair and impartial, without worrying about the project staff censoring any postings (not that Stanford ever would, but you get the idea). Basically, if we think something sucks, we have the freedom to say it sucks (provided we can demonstrate the suckiness with hard facts). But please remember this is a family friendly forum. So while Stanford won't censor your posts, the Forum Admins can and will, if anyone gets out of line.
Yes. This is the forum you arrive at when you click on the Forum link at the FAH project web site. That's about as official as it gets. However, unlike most Distributing Computing projects, this forum is not hosted by Stanford. This is a 3rd Party forum, supported by a community of fah users, not the fah project.Ahavi wrote:Is this the official forum?

Alright then, I just think I've cheated. But I guess soon enough I'll finnish up enough WUs to outnumber greatly the GPU client that only needs 2-3 hours/WU.

Check out the folder above, that's almost 4 wu's per point.

Who is Scott_F? One of you guys? If so, pardon my directness.wilding2004 wrote:Check out the folder above, that's almost 4 wu's per point.
That machine is FUBAR (or maybe it's OCBAR). Those are the kind of machines that put a real drain on the server resources and often leave no WUs for the rest of us to download. Somebody needs to either fix it or take FAH off of it.

It appears that the user last Folded in September. A large number of WUs seem to be GPU1 WUs. A runaway beta client perhaps http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... range=2000

I agree completely. I don't know who the folder was, but it does appear to have been a GPU fault. We had another folder who had a similar problem with the regular client. He had a lot of machines that all just went 'mad', and produced huge numbers of eue's. As soon as he realised what was happening he stopped the clients.codysluder wrote:Who is Scott_F?
