i am not able to submit or download any work. here are the logs...

Have you gone thru the Troubleshooting Server Connectivity Issues (Do This First) post?

Obviously you were able to download at some point since you're trying to upload results. What has changed since the P8027 was downloaded? Can you open those I.P. addresses in your browser as explained in the troubleshooting post? Does opening http://171.67.108.34:8080/ give you a blank page? Are you using a new Firewall or AV that hasn't been instructed to allow/ignore FAHClient? Are you using the latest v7.2.9 release which has a 'fix' to prefer ipv4 over ipv6?

Also, please supply the System Info and Config sections of your log explained here as they may be helpful for diagnosing the problem if the above hasn't resolved the issue.

Your client failed to connect to any server therough its first choice: port 8080. That means you're connecting through a proxy or have other security requirements that are potentially blocking connections. FAH has no knowledge of those requirements and will continue to try port 8080 before reverting to port 80. In most cases, the requirements on port 80 are more relaxed but that doesn't prove there are none. The HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED in the middle of an upload is unusual. Perhaps the size of your uploads are limited or something like that. I recommend that you contact the security administrator for you site and find out anything you can about local restrictions.

Hello all,

oddly, today i closed the FAH client and re-opened it and it managed to upload/ download the work. I am currently behind some proxy and thus port 8080 is blocked. this is the second time i've gotten this "problem" and it kinda resolves itself after hours/days. so i guess the next time i encounter this, i should just wait it out ?

It's impossible for us to answer that question. We don't know enough about your proxy to explain why it sometimes decides to block communications and other times it does not. As I said in my earlier post, the best source of information about the policies of your proxy is the security administrator for your site.
