i think it always had say attemting to get work... but worked fine eny ways... myby i am wrong but now it stuck sinz months and i havent understand before now.

worked fine even if it says core not running all the time. sorry my english i am from sweden.

Please make sure you are running an SMP client v6.34 or newer. GPU client v6.41 or newer.

Tell us more about your setup, and post the log file contents.

What make and model of GPU?
What version of Windows?

You can see the version of v6 that you're using by looking at the top of the log (FAHlog.txt). Copy and paste the first 20 lines of the log.

Type 1 Species 3 in the log indicates a 4xxx series ATI GPU.

This older GPU went end of life more than a year ago. Work units finally ran out a month or two ago.

You will want to shut down that GPU client. Folding on your CPU client should continue uninterrupted.

Windows XP/2003/Vista/7 GPU2 System tray client (installer msi)


pleas give me a link too somthing that work whit my computer set up. only cpu klient if thats the only opurtunity

If you're running as a Novice (top right of FAHControl screen) click on the down arrow and change to Advanced or Expert. Then try the procedure again.

SMP is used for computers that have multiple cores/threads.

If you want us to suggest a client and slot type to use on your computer setup how about telling us something about your computer setup like your cpu type.

All the required info is in the System Info at the top(Refresh and scroll up) of the log.

now i run folding at home 7.1.52 ..... dos it alway start whit demo protein? then i dont now befor that is don in 6 hours

so i gues i whait and se, and come back if it is the same problem or as i asked give me a link to somthing that worke (mayby only cpu client) . this whit GPU slot > Remove > Save dident help me ... never sean that chose in the program

Log looks good.

As 7im already stated your GPU is no longer supported but you are using SMP:4 and for your setup that is your best option for now.
