I'm not sure how I managed to get multiple processes running at the same time. I'm also not sure how to eliminate one of the processes.
When I look at my Windows XP Pro Task Manager I see the following:
FAH504-Console[1].exe
FahCore_81.exe
FahCore_82.exe
How can I uninstall what is apparently the non-console version of FAH? When I look at my startup manager I only see winFAH.exe listed.
Thanks, Jim

Re: Multiple FAH processes running
winFAH is installed by a normal windows installer, so there is an entry which allows it to be uninstalled by the normal windows uninstall process.
The console version (such as FAH504) is not distributed as an installer but is "pure" software. You have to place it in a folder manually and run it from there, and removing the folder is all that is required to uninstall it.
Since you're calling it FAH504-Console[1].exe you probably just ran it as a temporary file, assuming it was an installer, which means it's running from your browser cache -- and that's why you can't find it.
To get rid of it, go to taskmanager and kill FA504-Console[1].exe. Then clear your browser cache. If that doesn't get rid of it, you may have installed it as a service, and that may take a few more steps, so you may need to ask for more help.
If you wish to install the Console program later, you download it into a folder you create manually. Then you have to create your own shortcuts to run it. For more information, read the WIKI and ask about anything you don't understand.

Bruce, you were 100 percent on the money with your answer. I followed your instructions and rebooted and it appears all is as it should be in the FAH arena.
Many thanks, Jim
