Hello,
I am trying to run FAH Control in the background of several computers in our business.
The issue is that when the CPU is set to 100%, sometimes the performance gets very bad and impacts our employees. So I have tried to set the CPU down to 60%, however, the FAH Control continues to use 100% of the CPU (regardless of what I set).
Has anyone else reported this? If so, what's the solution.
Thanks.

Re: Percent CPU Usage
Hello jbslondon, welcome to the forum!
Thanks for installing F@h on so many computers!
What's the configuration? GPU folding often has the most performance impact, but if it's the CPU we're talking about that can be fixed too. I assume these machines have multiple CPU cores, and since V7 detects this by default it will install an SMP slot for multicore processing. The slider doesn't work right. I'd recommend that you change your configuration to use one less CPU core. Here's how to do this: 1) change V7's mode from Novice to Advanced, 2) Under the Configure window, choose the Slots tab and select the SMP slot, 3) hit Edit, 4) Set the number of CPU threads to a value less than the number of CPU cores available, 5) hit OK, 6) hit Save.

F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
