Had quite a job completing this and when it came to upload it showed error on using qfix where the project number in file was corrupt.
Is it possible the data is still good? - but unable to upload in this case :

C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Application Data\F@H CPU>qfix.exe

AFAIK qfix doesn't work with the current queue.dat file.

You could try appending " -send 02" (without the quotes) to your command line to see if it will send or just restart the client which tries to send any existing result files.

No go Bollix- [it's unit 01 btw] see result below:

Launch directory: C:\Documents and Settings\admin\Application Data\F@H CPU
Arguments: -send 01

[12:07:31] - Ask before connecting: No
[12:07:31] - User name: new08 (Team 39340)
[12:07:31] - User ID: ***************
[12:07:31] - Machine ID: 1
[12:07:31]
[12:07:31] Loaded queue successfully.
[12:07:31] Initialization complete
[12:07:31] Attempting to return result(s) to server...
[12:07:31] Project: 7009 (Run 2, Clone 23, Gen 47)
[12:07:31] - Failed to send unit 01 to server

PS: I see from the queue file that the unit is showing different numbers [both moved up a digit] to original :
entry 1, status 0, address 129.74.85.15:8080
to this
entry 2, status 1, address 129.74.85.15:8080
Entry 2 is presumably the currently running, new w/u 02

Sorry about the wrong queue number. Didn't realize you had downloaded a new WU. So I would say the P7009 is gone since there is no 01 results file. You should be able to go thru your logs (current or previous) and find where it was actually sent or deleted.

Your queue.dat file may be corrupt. If you have a problem sending the current WU I'd delete the queue.dat file and let the client build a new one. Please don't use qfix as it will corrupt that file.

Thanx- that's probably why 02 unit had to restart!
I think after all the lost work I'll sit tight and see what happens on next result sending in.
The 01 slot is showing as deleted in queue data. The wuresults_01.dat file is still there though!
Would it be helpful if qfix was modded to not run on newer files that it corrupts?
It seems to be still current advice in the help files from Panther.

I doubt we'll ever see the program fixed as it's author passed away quite some time ago and the lastest client (version 7) doesn't use a queue.dat file. You could try version 7 to avoid this in the future.

If you decide to give it a try you need to restart your current WU and append -oneunit to the command line and finish it before installing version 7.
