I made my own Cell logo (since I can't seem to find an official logo) based on the POWER logo (since Cell is based on POWER). Check it out:
Do whatever you want with it, print it out and hang it on your wall or print it on sticker paper and make some 'Intel Inside'-like stickers, just a few things:
I'm a little new here, so if I screwed up somewhere, be gentle.

Cell has a logo - contact IBM, Toshiba, or Sony for it.
Cell is not based on the PowerPC - it merely uses a general purpose cpu "front end", and since IBM made the PowerPC chip, they chose that one.
They could have chosen any other cpu chip.
Very nice graphic!

The front end has the designation "PPU" for POWER Processing Unit. Two threads, in fact. They were able to do a lot of copy and paste. Even with that, they spent about $400,000,000 to develop CELL/BE.Adak wrote:Cell is not based on the PowerPC - it merely uses a general purpose cpu "front end", and since IBM made the PowerPC chip, they chose that one.
