Quadro GPU problems

Post by red454 »

System specs:

Win 7 64bit
CPU Core i7 2600K
Asus P8H61 motherboard
Quadro GT218GL (Quadro FX380LP)
Quadro GF106GL (Quadro 2000)
FaH 7.1.52
Driver 296.35

CPU folds properly. GPUs say they are running, but nothing happens. The 2000 GPU did fold once, but nothing now. Tried several drivers - some fail all the time, others just say "running", but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Switched to driver 275.89 and removed the GT218GL (Quadro FX380LP) card from the machine. The Quadro 2000 card now folds. Not sure if it was the driver, or perhaps the system didn't like the 380 card, but at least I have one GPU folding for now...

Have you had success with the 285 series?

I don't fold on GPUs any more. But 285.xx is what everyone used (who had driver issues) before 296 and 301.

See the NV Driver Lottery thread for more detail, if you want...

I'm folding with a Quadro 2000 with 296.xx driver without any issue, before of these i was using the 276.xx without any issue using W7 64bit.
