Radeon HD 3200 Graphics ?

Post by barebear »

Does this have what it needs to function in a GPU slot in 7.1.52 or should I just stay w/ SMP ? ( processor is a Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile RM-70 2 Ghz and 4GB ram on 64 bit Vista Home Premium ).

Thanks in advance for feedback/advice

It should be able to fold, but it may not be powerful enough to meet all of the deadlines and, due to the AMD core requiring a lot of CPU time, it'll drag down your SMP frame times significantly. The recommendation with integrated AMD GPUs is usually to skip them since you'll earn more points with SMP alone than SMP/GPU or uniprocessor/GPU.
