Display a status/progress bar?

Post by Celach »

Hello,

I just downloaded F@H (Windows CPU Client version 6.23) and the only "display" it shows is of the actual molecule. Is there a way to display a progress bar showing what %, est. time left, etc., is left for the ones my computer is processing?

Hi there Celach, welcome to the F@h support forum!

The only progress that the v6 client will show is if you hover your mouse over the system tray icon. It will then show something like "7000/10000" which illustrates the progress. There are also several third-party applications which can supplement the v6 client, and add features like ETA, points/day, and many other things besides. See this http://fahwiki.net/index.php/Third_Party_Contributions page for a list.

F@h is currently working on the next generation of its software, referred to as v7. It shows all those things and has many intuitive buttons and whatnot. Its currently in beta testing, so you will not find it on the Download page, but it probably will appear there fairly soon. My guess is within a month, maybe two. It's a major overhaul and a complete rewrite of v6, and addressed a lot of problems that had plagued v6 and it adds a whole new level of controls and a bunch of features, many of which had only been available via third-party add-ons. But it still has enough bugs where its not considered ready for release yet. I just thought I'd let you know a bit about it.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
