Server rpts problem: Project: 7809 (Run 8, Clone 227, Gen 3)

Post by SomeStones »

Oh No! Not again.

Two 7809s on Sunday and now this one. Different machine and WU but same result.

The machine is a Dell Dimension 3000, P4, 3gHz, 2GB, Windows XP - SP3. The Folding client is 6.23.

After waiting for 12 1/2 days, another high-point (for this machine) unit is thrown in the trash.

Is anybody getting any 7809s through?

Console or GUI client? If GUI, did you pause the client at any time during the run? If console, please upgrade to 6.3x.

Hi 7im,

GUI client. I did not pause or otherwise interrupt the run.

Are any 7809s getting done now? This is the fifth failure (reported) in the past 4 days. I know they worked as recently as Oct. 30th.

Thanks.

Project: 7809 (Run 8, Clone 227, Gen 2) did get through, but thus far Project: 7809 (Run 8, Clone 227, Gen 3) has not. I will mark this for followup.

I am wondering if the problems we have been seeing might be related to the server upgrade. Please see this post ---> viewtopic.php?f=18&t=19982
