Changing team homepage URL

Post by Captainunlikely »

Hi,
I'm having problems trying to change my team's homepage.
I've confirmed my username and password are correct, and when I enter the details I get a page saying that "teamname" was changed to "teamname", "email" was changed to "email", etc, but no mention of the homepage which is the only thing I need to change.
Is there any chance someone could help me out with this?
Thanks.

Welcome to the F@H Forum Captainunlikely & obvio171,

Please note that you will have to PM (Private Message) Pande Group Member esorin (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1665) who will help you out. If, for some reason, you can't send a PM, please post here so I (or any other Administrator/Moderator) will send a PM on your behalf.

Assuming you have to have at least one post in order to PM someone? Running into this same issue myself. Is this a bug in the website not allowing one to change the website or will this always require moderator intervention?

The admin page features a team has problems for a long time, you always have to send PM to esorin. :?

Recommend that this aspect can be reviewed. :)
Sorry for the translation. This aspect, obliges me to very short and concrete sentences. Little by little he will go forward, also in this field.
Thank you for your understanding. Jorge Barrientos

Thanks for bringing this to my attention ... I will look into this and see if we can get this fixed. In the meantime, please simply PM me with your requested URL change and I'll see if I can take care of it from my end.

Hi,

The page used to change team information did change the team homepage, but it just did not say it had successfully changed it. This has been added to the output.

Thanks,

I have a team I set up several years ago (5-7, I think) and I've completely forgotten the email address (I probably don't have access to it anymore) or the password. I've never used the forums before and thus are unable to PM. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edit by Mod: PM sent.

Hello impokinya,

Being new to the forum should not keep you from being able to PM (??), so please PM me your team info (team #, name, your name as team founder, and any other info you have, such as email address, etc.) and I'd be happy to help out with any updates you'd like made, including a password reset.
