Not sure about the lack of work. Server stat page shows it is running and has plenty of work to send. Let us know how it goes.

171.64.65.64 not accepting upload for me. Collection server 171.67.108.25 also rejecting upload - connection refused.

This may be relevant to the same topic - same server - but download was stalled with message " Error: Bad packet type from server, expected work assignment". I checked the Stanford Server status, and there was seemingly no recent stoppage in the server.

I finally stopped the client, and restarted from the shortcut that is in the STARTUP folder. It picked up the WU below, and is folding away:

Just so you know I don't know if it was your server at midnight or not...but EOC had no stats for the time period from 12am...but they were there at 3am (up at 3am)
so either eoc was down breifly or your server was...It up now and I don't see any issues now

as for the work server you seems to have fix that shortly after my post... I couldn't get a job at 12 already
I shut down the client and had reset my internet...
then follow your guide to test the servers before posting...and they were responding manually with http

that's when I posted
I finally got a work job after I posted the problem...so someone was responding to the post and I thank them for the effort in fixing the issue

I know you guys don't hear compliments often but you do deserve it now and then for keeping the system up

Server page shows it to be ok. It just seems cranky and doesn't want to let work out while it has 54,499 work units to go. Hopefully the Stanford folks will go shake it or something. Good luck!

Just an FYI, I've been getting the same problem from the same server a few times in the last few days. It clears up eventually, but it would be nice if so many hours weren't wasted.

See today's news blog. That server is under a heavy load and it'll be a week or so to get the new hardware running.
