Concerning members who are listed with one ore more WU's, but with a score of zero points.
I found four such members in my team.
The projects are: P678, P724, P740, P854 and P1130.
All this happened in the period from july 2004 till october 2004.
These members never showed any activity in our team, since then.
Hereby, the stats shows WU's with zero points, this is impossible.
What i suggest:
Don't remove these members, but just correct the stats so they no longer show up as zero-pointers.
Also, they can't be member of the concerned team(s), because they never produced any points for the team(s) yet.
My definition for a team "Users Total":
The number of members who scored one or more points for a team.
Members with WU's with zero points.
Moderators: Site Moderators, FAHC Science Team
Re: WU's with zero points.
I don't know whether that's the case here but an EUE WU is only partly credited and if it fails early in the beginning then you might get like 0.3 points for it which ends up rounded as 0 points.
The points and number of WUs are counted seperately.

Re: Members with WU's with zero points.
That's a reasonable explanation, but still the question remains.
They never ended one WU, the very same WU is probably already earned by another member.
They never produced one whole point, and never showed any activity since.
Therefore, they only pollute the stats.
Theoretically, a team could have hundreds of such members.
What if there are more of these, than there are active members?
This doesn't sound very logical. Isn't it?
It's maybe possible to earn more than one point with partly credited EUE WU's.
But never fully end any WU, so they never produce any result for Pande. That's not the intention.

Could you just slow down and define your point a little better.
What is it you want?

Re: Members with WU's with zero points.
Theoretically? There are 270+ donors on the #1 team that have no points but have WUs listed, Page 120, Page 121, Page 122kippie wrote:Theoretically, a team could have hundreds of such members.
Pande Groups policy is, once WUs are submitted, no changes to the stats are permitted. This has always been the case.
Re: Members with WU's with zero points.
Those 270+ donors haven't finished any WU,
so what's their effective contribution to the Pande Group?

These donors downloaded and configured the client. Those 270+ donors haven't finished any WU,

This in itself gives the user a User Name and User ID.
Once this is done, policy is that it cannot/will not be changed.
Who is to say that they might not, at some time, make a donation?
It is probably much easier to just leave them as is, than it would be to constantly delete those donors,
and then to have to make corrections and deal with the flack if someone were to be deleted by mistake.
Re: Members with WU's with zero points.
I agree.
Policy is policy, and making corrections is wasted time.
