HELP: Folding ONLY on 2nd card

Greetings all. I'm desperate. I've followed numerous guides and I'm just stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm running the GPU2 client....I have a GTX480 and a GT240 that is a PhysX card. EVGAx58 3xSLI mobo with dual x16 lanes, Windows7 Ult 64.

I'd like to have ONLY my GT240 fold.

I was able to get my first card folding no problem. The 2nd GPU program runs but nothing happens.

- Changed machine ID to everything else.. no luck
- added the -gpu 1 flag
- tried with/without -local -gpu 1 flag
- tried adding the -gpu 1 flag above the machine ID setting, in the Configure
- tried extending my desktop
- physx on/off
- gtx480 DVI'd into monitor, gt240 VGA'd into monitor at same time

-my slots are x16, x16, x8...... what if i swapped my 240 to #1 and moved my 480 to #2? just a crazy thought...

no error messages but i can run the first gpu, but not the second. doesnt matter if i run them at the same time or one at a time... only the 480 folds. am i missing something to get JUST the 240 to fold??

I hate to keep this going but since I don't really play PhysX games that often, I'd really love to use this GT240 that's in there.

Please post your FAHlog here by using the code button. This is what I can understand from your situation:
You want GT 240 to fold but it won't
Your GTX 480 is folding but you don't want it to fold
You are using GPU2 Client

Please note that your GTX 480 can't fold on a GPU2 Client, it requires GPU3 BETA Client. We also need some more details of your system:
What Driver Version?
Are you using an SLI Bridge?

You are correct in understanding my issue.

Actually my 480 was able to fold on the GPU2(623file)... running the GPU3(632 file) version now. same thing.

258.96 WHQL drivers.

NO sli bridge.

What happens if you use an SLI Bridge? Also, it is impossible for the GTX 480 to fold by using the GPU2 Client as the GTX 480 uses FahCore_15.exe which the GPU2 Client can't recognize.

the GT240 isn't SLI capable...

so... should I re-download the GPU2 client to make sure I did it right? Would the 240 run on the gpu3 client? IF so, could you provide the exact link so I dont screw it up?

This is the list of which client works with which GPU
GT 240 = GPU2 Client & GPU3 BETA Client
GTX 480 = GPU3 BETA Client
Visit this link and download either the Systray or Console version of 6.23 and install it on your system. You have to use either -gpu 0 OR -gpu 1 flag to correctly identify the GT 240 and then it can hopefully fold without any problems. If a problem does occur, please post your FAHlog.

Its working! had to add -local -gpu 1 in the Target
and
-gpu 1 in the field above Machine ID 3 in the Configure

I guess I had the wrong client or something... wowzers! REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP! my card gives off a high pitched whine.. super loud... oh well.
the display says 200/ns day... dunno if thats good. not sure how to see my ppd.

Regarding the high whine sound, it is not unusual and there isn't any harm to the GPU from what I have read. Technically it is called "Capacitor Whine" and usually occurs when your GPU is being stressed you can Google it to see some possible solutions.

Use HFM.net to monitor the client(s) and it will tell you the PPD, the status, etc.
