Can this protein be processed by fah?

Post by Rickard »

Hi everyone!

Found this article a few days ago about ALS. Researchers have found a link between familial and sporadic ALS and the article talks about a protein that is "the key".

Can foldinig@home study this kind of protein to get a better understanding on how this one works?

ALS is mentioned on the project's home page: http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Main So the answer appears to be yes, but I don't see mention of it on the Diseases currently under study on this page: http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-Diseases
