...but who the heck shows up folding over 700K points by day 2? Oh, that would be Hi-Octane. Nice farm, apparently. Glad I'm not on the hook for the power bill. :shock: Props to him if s/he is footing it.

Usually theyre companys with spare servers that are used as backup or light file servers running the big units...

Its easy to run 700k with them, as they net 50k+ per unit.

The points per WU are coming out close to 1920, and that sounds like many of the SMP work units. S/He probably just has access to some new multi-cored hardware.
