Sure you can, I created my own team. I am the only one on it but I have a team...

how do you get so many points for your 24 hour average?

50 quad core computers, each with 2 video cards folding 24/7. or 1000 single core computers. or 10 computers with 8 video cards each, mix and match as you like. The points that each client type earns are described in the FAQs on the project web site.
