Ran out of SMP wu's?

Post by rickoic »

Got 6 different computers looking for new SMP work units.

No problems getting GPU wu's or regular wu's.

Tks

Well 1 instance picked up a p4625, but the others now when they try get a message back that 'No appropriate work server was available; will try again in a bit.'

Must be rebooting the server.

All SMP servers appear to be up, and I haven't experienced any shortage of SMP WUs today on quite a few instances. p4625 is an Amber, not a SMP WU. Are you sure you're configured properly?

I guess something is wrong with your client configuration ... did you forget the -smp flag ?

Nope, got the -smp flag on them. All smp clients have now picked up new wu's, so I think they just needed to clear some cob webs out of the server, or something like that.
