Autosend sends zero

Post by ashdaw84 »

I am running SMP and GPU, I checked today the statistics for me and I notice that it shows that 2 processors active in last 7 days?
I thought it would read 3 as I am using a Duo Core with SMP but maybe I just am reading stuff wrong?

One other thing, the SMP client just reached 100% and the info on the screen says 0 of completed unit sent.

First, regardless of the number of cores/processors a single client shows up as a single processor in the stats.

Next, The autosend is an 8 hour repeating process that just sends WU's that were previously finished but for some reason did not get successfully sent. Whatever the reason for the old WU to get stored in the queue, it still didn't get sent this time either. Most of the time it is because of a server issue (and the 171.64.65.64 server has been having trouble today).. Also, the autosend activated just after your current WU finished but before all its bookkeeping work was finished so if you look a little further, in the FAHLog.txt file, I suspect that the current WU was sent a few minutes later. The other alternative is that it didn't send either and the next autosend will have 2 WU's to send. The queue can hold up to 8 WU's, however, if it gets to that point you truly will be having problems because by then several WU's will probably be expired.
