Over the years I've managed to forget which case variation of my username (either claudioc or ClaudioC) I was using, and have wound up with significant contributions in both. I thought that when I created a group (107982) that I migrated all of my clients to the mixed-case variant (ClaudioC), but discovered today that is not the case (no pun intended).
The web site seems not to differentiate between the two variants in certain situations. For instance, in the group stats page, it only lists the lower-case version of the username. Also, the reported stats are equivalent for each variant of the username, which is certainly not correct.
I know that user/team data can't be changed after submission, but how can be sure that my contributions are being recorded correctly given these apparent errors?
TIA,
Claudio

Re: 2 case-variants of username
If you look at the official Stanford stats, the two are differentiated. Many of the 3rd party stats sites merge names like that into a single account.
On this page, pick "starts with" and enter claudioc
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... =userstats

Re: 2 case-variants of username
Thanks Bruce. I should have mentioned I had observed that is the only place where differentiation seems to occur. If you click through to the results, you'll see they are identical.
In other words, these 2 URLs show the same result:
h-ttp://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=ClaudioC
h-ttp://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=claudioc
(I had to munge http as I can't yet post URLs)
