That way the money goes straight to Pande Group, and not to the Stanford general fund. I doubt very much that Pande Group has much in the way of overhead. Vijay doesn't do this for the cars, yachts, etc. ;)

@ theo343, the results from the project are published openly, publicly. It would be very difficult for the results to be "only ... used by large companies" Small companies, universities, and public health organizations could all use the information alike.

And no offense, but IMO the big break throughs coming in the cancer field will be in early detection and prevention, not treatment. Once you have full blown cancer, your chances aren't that good, even with new synthetic drugs of the future.
I was actually kidding on this one. My point was, you can't be paranoid in supporting organisations that tries to help the weak/sick/poor. No matter how hard you try you will never, in this world, escape the comercial/money/human-greed aspect of things. But you cant let this stop you making a contribution towards the purpose.

Actually almost every organisation (not comercial company in the traditional sense) is setup because there is a financial basis for it to exist and even earn good money in many cases. But lets not take this any further, I was just joking about that way of thinking.

171.64.65.56 in reject status again!
I have totaly forgotten how does it feels to relegate a server consistently capable of doing 2900PPD, to crawling with 1300PPD on a P 5102 WU.

Thank You Dr. Kasson!

I didn't expected you to drop the turkey dinner just to restart the server, but that was a really nice Thanksgivings present :)
Thanks again.

For various reasons, none of the SMP servers are currently running the "new" code at present.

May I suggest the use of the Asus Repair Kit instead ?
