The fahwiki is very usefull for finding that kind of information, I have to check it often even for things I 'explained' a dozen times before ( blame my memory ). It might be good to bookmark the wiki, and if you have some spare time just look around there are many interesting things to be found there if you want to dive deeper into the client, the log outputs, the science and the history of things related to the project.

This is the value that Stanford uses to identify a specific machine. I don't think there's any record kept of which userids are used by a specific username.yahavbr wrote:What is this "User ID"? Is it per machine or per user?
