Project: 2484 (Run 128, Clone 25, Gen 8)

Post by Aardvark »

I would appreciate it if anyone with access to the Database would check on the subject Project for me. It completed and I was able to upload it(with some starts/stops). The Client reported a successful upload at 14:25:48 UTC on 4/18/2009. It has not shown up in any of the published stats, however.

Hello Aardvark,

In the db I see one record of an early unit end by another donor but no record of your work unit.
It's probably worth trying to check it again in a couple of hours.

Thanks, susato, for the check.

There is still no acknowledgment of the subject WU by the Stats System. What door should I knock on next? Does it make any sense to also post in the "Issues with a specific Server" Forum? I see there are a few posts in that Forum citing "bad behavior" for the 171.65.103.162 server over the past month.

Still no record of your upload . . .

The only way to figure out what happened is to manually search the server logs . . . and that's not generally a priority for the Pande Group. I'll see that the correct person is notified and you may or may not get a response.

Is is possible that you returned the WU from a different copy of the client than the one that downloaded it -- or that it expired? When was it downloaded?

Thanks for the recheck, bruce.

The WU was completed on, and returned from, the same machine with the same copy of the Client in place for the entire processing of the WU.

It appears that my FAHlog-Prev.txt file does not extend back far enough to cover the actual start of the WU processing. Here is the oldest portion on the log that I can find:

It appears the WU was completing 1 % approximately every 2-1/2 hours. If we assume that is "fact", I had already spent about 2 days on the WU at the start of that quote and the WU was therefore probably started on or about April 3, 2009.

As I recall, it was not due until sometime in June, 2009. it certainly had not passed it's due date. It is hard to be more specific. Project 2484 does not appear in the Project Summary listing. I assume that it is considered "beta" for the purposes of that listing and is not included.

bruce,
Thanks again for helping move this request along. It is now late on 4/23 and the points have still not shown up. This is probably a hopeless case. We are at the mercy of the Servers and their tenders. You gotta love em(not)... :-(

Don't give up so quickly...cheer up! I am working in the recredits. I got the list, and I am getting closer.
Cheers!
