Somewhere, it was stated that the new beta-Clients had just been furnished with new expiry periods/dates.
Why then did I see a marked difference in file size for the fah.exe from the Windows 2000/XP/Vista SMP client console version ?
The old Client beta had the size of 328 kB, the new beta6 version had the size of 332 kB ???
I have a report from a Team member who watched his Folding on the system where he exchanged this file; he reports that he got a Frame time increase of 5-9 minutes ( ~300 PPD loss ) with the new Client version
.
What is different about the newly released Clients ???

As stated in the release announcement, the new Windows/SMP client checks mpiexec functionality before starting. There should not, however, be a performance difference.
