this is from dos client finish & upload after swap

[22:07:29] Finished Work Unit: [22:07:2 ... ing@Home.

then a bunch of 503 errors trying to get a new pack it eventually got through. i guess by wednesday night there was still server problems. can someone verify that upload?

User ID ¬= User Name

User ID: 490A8AD2xxxxxxE2 / Machine ID: 1 has returned at least one WU and is included in your CPU count.
User ID: 490A8AD2xxxxxxE2 / Machine ID: 3 has not returned any WUs and is not included in your CPU count.

I have been talking explicitly about User ID and Machine ID. You have been talking about User Name and Team No.

Was it a p2665 WU? Several people have reported turning in p2665 WUs and not getting credit. That could explain why your CPU count didn't go up in this case. It should and will, because you did in fact create a new CPUId = UserID+MachineID, as Bruce pointed out.

it wasnt this one?

[22:07:31] Folding@home Core Shutdown: FINISHED_UNIT
[22:07:35] CoreStatus = 64 (100)
[22:07:35] Sending work to server
[22:07:35] Project: 4461 (Run 749, Clone 4, Gen 14)
[22:07:35] - Read packet limit of 540015616... Set to 524286976.

i dont see where it created a new processor. all those extra processors were before i changed operating system. this WU was late wednesday night 4/22. before and after upload it showed 7 active processors. since then one of the older ones has fallen off down to 6 where it should be 4.

Project: 4461 (Run 749, Clone 4, Gen 14) was returned by the same machine I mentioned above: User ID: 490A8AD2XXXXXXE2 / Machine ID: 1 There still are no WUs from User ID: 490A8AD2XXXXXXE2 / Machine ID: 3

This machine will appear in your CPU count whenever it meets the critera to be counted . . . having submitted a WU within the last X days.

Does it make sense now?

Here is the most recent project returned from each UserID. (The *'s indicate more than one MachineID on that UserID) Is some client still missing? If so, what was the date/time/Project number of the work it submitted? (All times are local times at Stanford which is UCT-7) This list goes back 90 days.

Did you even look at the information in the chart that I posted above? You need to visit FAHlog for each of your clients and identify which UserID and MachineID / failed to return a WU recently.
