Hello all! My name is Murphnator and I am brand new to folding within the last week or so.
I have a couple questions but first here is some background info,I have installed 2 GPU clients and 1 CPU client.
I am running an Nvidia system,780i mobo, E8400@ dual core CPU at stock clock 3.0,dual 9800gtx GPU's.
I have no problem running all three clients at the same time,I have disabled SLI,hooked up another monitor, extended desktop the whole bit.
So here's the questions,1) I must have missed this in a thread some where but,are we not able to run 2 GPU diplays at the same time?
And second, when in SLI mode I am able to control the fan speed's of both GPU's with a program called riva tuner, but when disaled,I can only control 1 of the GPU fans and heat becomes a big problem, the nvidia control panel GPU fan control has never worked,so is there another program out the that will control these fans?

1. It's able still to run 2 displays on the same time. Actually, You have to extend desktop to other display prior running GPU client, as You did.
2. I use NVIDIA Control Panel for fan control and it works pretty well. May be You have old driver or older version CP? You can download it from Nvidia site: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

building 32 GPU folding rig: 16 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 cards; dual PSU solution; 4 nodes.

Re: GPU fan control help please
Riva Tuner should be able to control you fans ... you have to select the right board alternatively in the available devices list in Riva Tuner.
