The rig in question has been folding right along (shows 83 WU's, currently), but today for the first time, my Avast AV program repeatedly gives me warnings about the fahcore_a1.exe being infected with the trojan W32_Swizzor.
I have re-loaded the core 3 times, and received another Avast database update, but still receive the same infection warnings.
I know you guys take precautions against virus/malware programs getting into F@H, but can someone check this core? I can't fold with this constant warning going on, and I can't be on-line with this Windows based rig, without a good AV program (AVG failed miserably last year).

Re: Virus (Trojan Horse) Warning on A1 core today
Likely a false positive. Avast is notorious for throwing up false positives with folding data files. Related thread here.

Re: AVAST issues false Warning on A1 core
Well, I've seen a similar report on my team forums ... several reports about this trojan in the A1 core
If you test this core with another AV, you'll notice that there's nothing wrong with it.
Avast has always caused troubles with false positives with FAH (usually on work files), and I always advised to use Avira AntiVir instead of Avast ... (I use it on all my machines, I never faced issue with FAH and I never got any infection)
