I established a team recently and there is a donor listed from several years ago. While it is nice to be able to show a very high score, I would like to have these old stats removed so our team can see our true results. Is that possible? Our assigned team number is 160955. The user Al shows last workunits posted in 2007 I think. (server too busy right now to check it)
Before I enlist a large number of team members, I would like to either remove the old stats or start over again if necessary.
thanks

Once the stats server processes your WU, the stat is permanently there. So long story short: no.

Re: team statistics show unfamiliar donor
Thank you, but I don't think I got an answer to my question. There is a person in the NEW team, I just set up, with stats from 2007. We want to start with a fresh team. I thought at first it would get cleared out once we posted some WUs but the old donor is still there.
date of last work unit for 'Al' with 665 WU is 2007-12-12 20:16:06
Should I start over again and set up a new team and if we do is there likely to be a clean slate? That is what I expected to see when I set up the team. Is it possible that I named the team the same as 'Al' had used which has caused us to be mingled?
Edit: started a new team, checked it has no members, so we will just use the new one. I don't know why the first team got that extra member right from the start. Could there be a problem with team assignment database?

I'm guessing that team member mistyped his team number and got his WUs delivered to a then-nonexistent team.
