User/Team Stats

Post by rbgatti »

I have been folding for a few weeks and just created a new team. Can I join that team and have my stats appear for the team instead of team 0?

Thanks

Of course. You just have to change your client settings.

Your previous score won't be transferred to the new team, it will stay where it is (on Team 0), and your score will start back from 0 on the new team.

I was hoping to transfer my score but no biggie. I'll change my clients from 0 to my new team number.

Thanks for the information.

Will I maintain my overall user points if I transfer to new new team? (current default team 0)

Just dont change your name ;)
I've contributed 853 work units so far [thats a lot of processing time using just pentium d's and a ps3] but the highest contribution listed under a single name I've used is 431 [a name I'm no longer using hehe] ;)

I suggest you also use a passkey if you're not already doing so. They're not required, but someday there may be a better way to deal with finding all your contributions across various teams and maybe even across multiple UserNames. Nobody knows how that will eventually turn out, but it's worth adding the passkey now for some future benefits that are not clearly defined yet.

Thanks - does it take a while for the stats server to adjust to new team entry? I currently have 4 boxes running single unicore cpu clients + a gpu2 client on one of them. Only the gpu & 1 cpu client have submitted a completed WU since I changed teams from default to ATI. The following are what I now show for user stats (you can see I didn't change names). It appears from the two different user stats results that I'm two different users with the same name????

#1 - (linked from gpu client)

Date of last work unit None
Total score 0
Overall rank (if points are combined) 1210612 of 1210612
Active processors (within 50 days) 0
Active processors (within 7 days) 0

#2 - (linked from cpu client still on original team WU)

Once you complete the work unit for the new team it should update when the stats are next adjusted.

Of course... if you were already running the client and simply adjusted the info with -configonly flag, then forgot to restart the client... it will have submitted any work units completed with your old information.. [That is full of double negatives and confusing grammar, sorry, please read it carefully lol]

Stats now assigned the most recent completed WU's to new team, but still lists me as two different users with the same user name (Nick_Arpaia): One name associated with team 0, the other with team 51394. It still does not list me as a single user with contributions to two teams. It is not combining my points for the two teams for my overall score!! :(

Also, I have seen the entry on config for "passkey" - what is it?
Thanks

I'm not sure which page you're checking but here's your consolidated user stats page showing overall score: user stats for Nick Arpaia and your consolidated certificates: WUs & Points.

Thanks for the passkey link. Yes, the system finally updated correctly about 12 hours after submission of the first WUs to the new team.
