Gromacs cannot continue further??

Post by Desertfox80 »

This is a new one for me, what happened?

Code: Select all

[22:38:09] Writing local files
[22:38:09] Completed 1440000 out of 2000000 steps (72%)
[22:58:36] Gromacs cannot continue further.
[22:58:36] Going to send back what have done.
[22:58:36] logfile size: 48906
[22:58:36] - Writing 49442 bytes of core data to disk...
[22:58:36] ... Done.
[22:58:36]
[22:58:36] Folding@home Core Shutdown: EARLY_UNIT_END
[22:58:41] CoreStatus = 72 (114)
[22:58:41] Sending work to server
[22:58:41] Project: 2527 (Run 5, Clone 38, Gen 21)
[22:58:41] - Read packet limit of 540015616... Set to 524286976.
[22:58:41] + Attempting to send results [February 23 22:58:41 UTC]
[22:58:41] + Results successfully sent
Also on two of my machines I have to restart F@H after each WU is returned because F@H cannot connect to the work server for new assignments without being restarted, once restarted they grab a new WU instantly.

Code: Select all

[09:26:31] + Attempting to get work packet
[09:26:31] - Connecting to assignment server
[09:26:31] + No appropriate work server was available; will try again in a bit.
[09:26:31] + Couldn't get work instructions.
[09:26:31] - Attempt #12 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.

Not sure about the second issue. The first thing to do when troubleshooting is post the first 35 lines of your fahlog.txt file so we can see what is running.
