The growth in Folding@home continues to be strongly propelled by the maturity and expansion in use of the GPU clients. The way things stand now, it looks like the growth in power of Folding@home will parallel the performance enhancements made in GPU technology and the Folding@home client itself. Still, I believe the Pande group has a few more things planned down the road that'll be big advancements in Folding@home. I'm personally hopeful that it'll involve a rehauled Windows SMP client, and possibly even a Folding@home client for Larrabee whenever that gets released.
Congrats to everyone, especially the Pande group for all the work they have put in this great cause.

I understand it is known that the flop count is not accurate for one of the gpu clients. Somehow the avg. flop count is exactly the same for all the gpu devices whether AMD or Nvidia.
