On the Folding@Home site there is a page to view the number of contributors on world map.
But whenever i have tried the .png files never load.
Has this mapping been stopped on there is some other problem?

No, the mapping has not stopped. They were working recently, but not sure what's happening now. Updates maybe? I'll send a PM to Pande Group to be corrected. Thanks for the report.
