What is this molecule ?

Post by Iksarfighter »

Hi,

I learned biochemy long ago but I liked it.

How can I know the molecule that FH is working on my PC ?

I think that you could name this molecule in order in less taking us for ignorants.

Welcome to the forum Iksarfighter!

Folding@home is currently working on a number of different molecules, and which one you're helping with depends which project you are currently processing.

Most of the current projects have descriptions linked to from this page: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/psummary.html

A few examples of molecules/proteins being worked on include the ribosome and p53.

Look in the FAHlog.txt file, or use a 3rd party application (like fahmon or fahspy) ...

you cdan look up the project # to tell you what youre currently working on by that link he gave you. the ps3 will tell you a project # in the corner, systray client you can right click/status/queue info and find the one thats not finished yet. or wait until theyre done and you can from your team stats or personal stats click on the project series o-1000, 1000-2000 etc and itll give you a list of projects youve done, explinations, how many parts of the project youve done
