All urls in that section are now off limits ( eg responce code 304 iirc, need to login ). Is this temporary? I know some other monitors ( fahlogstats iirc ) parse these pages for offering a description in their gui but I link to them from a project browser. I thought at first the link I used was wrong, but it's the same link as from the stats pages.
I think I read something about them being revised in some way but I'm not sure in what way and what timescale we are looking at here. I would remove the links from the my projects if I knew the pages weren't coming back at all.

Re: Project description pages
For example http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/fahproject?p=785 is working for me.

MtM -- we banned several IP's recently since they were essentially DOS-ing our web server. Perhaps yours was one. Did you have a script or app that was accessing FAH web pages very frequently?

Re: Project description pages
Like I said I don't parse the pages but I link to them, got no need to acces them frequently. I never accesed them excessively because I know the cgi pages are not allowed to be crawled that way, trust me I know what's allowed and not ( well I doubted abit over psummary parsing which I still do to get the project info's but afaik that's allowed ).VijayPande wrote:MtM -- we banned several IP's recently since they were essentially DOS-ing our web server. Looks like you did ban my ip though as every cgi page is blocked for me. Think you made a mistake as I never acces them for anything directly.
I'll send you my ip through pm
