Code: Select all
I will do that now and report back, thanks again.
Just deleted the config file and tried again. I get status 503 from 171.64.65.65 and also 171.67.108.25. If I try the first IP in a browser I get a blank window ie no OK message. The second IP gives me exactly the same. If I were to try the 6.23? beta client could it just be swapped for the existing one and then started again?. Thanks.

What has worked for me with updates for clients is to stop the current client, rename it, then copy the new executable into the folder and restart the client. I use shortcuts to start my clients, so I don't know what happens if you try to start it directly.

I have been trying to get some folding going for about 12 hours now.
Why can no one appear to sort this out?

I tried deleting the config file and this made no difference so I have now replaced the executable with version 6.23 and I am now getting a gromacs error. I get client core communication error: 0x79 with a core status of 79 (121). Your help is as always appreciated.

I have tried deleting the config file and that has made no difference. So I have downloaded the 6.23 beta R1 client and tried that. It would not work without a gromacs error until I created a fresh folder and re-downloaded the necessary core and work unit. The problem I have now is how to send off all the results in the old folder?

I am still getting status 503 from this server as well as 171.64.108.25. I have updated my client to 6.23 beta R1 and it does not seem to have made any difference. Your thoughts are appreciated.

The server is already handling the maximal connection it allows (100) ... so it answer with error 503.

I appreciate the need for patience, it is just that I have to send all my results back using a mobile broadband stick, moving it between multiple PC's. I would love all of them to be attached to a switch that has a permanent IP address but alas as far as I know it is not possible?
