Project: 2493 (Run 52, Clone 19, Gen 0) [same WU 2 clients!]

I haven't been around in awhile, not sure if this is now normal....



Vista, E6600 C2D, 2GB, regular console client. 2 instances, different machine ID's, separate folders.

They are running neck and neck, downloaded new WU within 6 minutes of each other.

Shall I kill one and get a new WU, or will I get credit for both? (See above... maybe things have changed since I've been away...)

Better kill one. This shouldn't have happened and the same result will not be useful twice (and you won't get credit twice either ).

@Paula, Can you please check if there's something fishy in the assignment code?

Killed one. Got different WU. All is good!!!

Well if you complete both, you'll get full credit and the results will be used for comparison purposes ...

But this WU has been assigned to 3 people, they all failed to complete it ...

When the CPU ID (User ID + Machine ID) is different, you should get credit from both (the WU should have been assigned to two different clients, and the server should now it).

But I don't know why it has been assigned twice ... (maybe because there are already more than one report of EUE ?)
