Just wondering, is there a provision in the server assignment code that automatically removes a WU from circulation after x number of EUE'd results are returned? Just saw a couple of reports by Mods about WUs that EUEd repeatedly that seemed to indicate that deallocation of units happens manually.

Not necessarily, EUE's can happen rapidly if they end quickly. Such is several of the cases reported. If you look at the times they were reported, you will see that some of them are almost instantaneous.
Thus why we report them. I add the project coordinators name to the title as well, just to grab their attention.
