Project: 2665 (Run 3, Clone 504, Gen 56)

Post by JayMan8081 »

I keep getting this work unit assigned to me and it crashes shortly after reaching 6% done. Here is what I get each time it crashes:

Code: Select all

[02:16:43] Completed 15000 out of 250000 steps (6 percent)
[02:24:30]
[02:24:30] Folding@home Core Shutdown: INTERRUPTED
[0]0:Return code = 102
[0]1:Return code = 0, signaled with Segmentation fault
[0]2:Return code = 0, signaled with Segmentation fault
[0]3:Return code = 0, signaled with Segmentation fault
[02:24:34] CoreStatus = 66 (102)
[02:24:34] + Shutdown requested by user. Exiting.
Folding@Home Client Shutdown.
Is there any other information that I need to provide? Thanks.

I did some digging 4 u. The core status (=66) is not much help

The return code (= 102) lead me here

I don't think that I have faulty memory, but honestly I can't really check it either. This is on my office system and none of the other WUs it's received have given me this error. Also I haven't consistently had problems with my daily development either which routinely involves loading large images into memory. So I think if I did have faulty RAM it would be more apparent. Thanks for posting the links for me though. Also since it's my office system I can't really take it "offline" to let memtest run for any long period of time.

I have the same issue and have no forward progress. I ran memtest86 and cannot find a problem. This WU always crashes at exactly the same place and all other WU work fine.

Any further word on this? I have lost days of production due to being assigned the same WU over and over again. Essentially, it never passes 8%. I might as well drop FAH.

If you have a machine that is stuck and exiting the same WU over and over with CoreStatus = 66 (102), you need
to halt FAH, delete (or backup) queue.dat and the contents of the work directory, and restart. If you get re-assigned the same WU, stop, delete and restart again.

WU's are re-issued up to three times I think, then will move on to another.

This is what I do when I notice it. However, it takes me a day or two to notice that after a successful WU, 26t65 is back. I sometimes have to download 5 times to get another WU. When will 2665 be deleted or fixed altogether? How can I blacklist it so that I do not baby my machines?
