Thanks!
It's *almost* working now.
The Prion window has opened, but the Python console says:
(python.exe:3812): libglade-WARNING **: unknown property `program_name' for class `GtkAboutDialog'
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\FAH\prion\prion.py", line 105, in show_about
self.about.set_program_name("Prion")
PyGTK is installed, what's still missing now?
In the Preferences tab, I've selected the Folder where the F@H data is written, but Prion doesn't seem to see it.
Best regards,
François

Re: prion - folding stats & info
Works ok now!
Started the program with this command-line:
C:\FAH\prion>"c:\program files\pygtk\python\pythonw.exe" prion.py
I was able to make it work then.
What's the purpose of the giant button with a (prion?) molecule on it ?
When I press it, nothing seems to happen.

20-to-1 says you're using pygtk 2.10 instead of 2.12 upgrade pygtk and it should work. it's the about dialog, since it has no menu to put it in, i decided to just make it a button like that instead.francois wrote:What's the purpose of the giant button with a (prion?) molecule on it ?

Markybob - what's a "prion" anyway? What's the story behind the program name?

Re: prion - folding stats & info
a prion is a mis-folded protein molecule that lacks rna/dna and is the cause of many diseases, such as mad cow and creutzfeldt-jakob disease. i cant point to a real reason for it, but it seemed appropriate to me. *shrug*ElectricVehicle wrote:Markybob - what's a "prion" anyway?
