Hello folks,

As there has been no notice of issues with server 128.59.74.4 Could someone kindly look up the files to find out what has happened to the above completed WU. It was successful transmitted to the aforementioned server on - 31st August at 03:24:13.
The individual stats page has two different dates and times on them both occur after the successful transmission of this completed WU and it has not been included.

Your WU (P3858 R5992 C0 G6) was added to the stats database on 2008-08-30 20:41:25 for 450 points of credit.

Thank you for the information. Just one more question if you have the time to investigate. You state that credit was included on the 30th August at 20:41:25pm I am wondering how that is possible when I did not transmit the results until on 31st August 03:24:14am?

I had previously (incorrectly) assumed that the credit on 30th august at 20:41:25pm was infact for WU - ] Project: 3855 (Run 229, Clone 3, Gen 7) which was transmitted on 02:28:25 on August 23rd

The database displays UTC times ... I think you have to apply your timezone (and maybe the daylight saving too) to adjust the time.

Thank you for the information, I do not wish to appear contradictory but my FAH logs are not kept in line with my timezone here in Australia. My current log is at 04:33:44 on sept 2nd. the current time at writing this note to you is 14:33 (2.33pm) on Tuesday Sept. 2nd. So the times in my logs coincide with Stanford's timezone ??

I agree that database SHOULD display UTC times, but in fact, the database uses the local time at Stanford: UTC-7 (northern summer) or UTC-8 (northern winter) so you have to correct for both your timezone and theirs.

Hello Bruce

Thank you for the clarification. When I post info about my logs I try to only include the times that are listed within the actual FAH log thereby hoping to eliminate confusion about which timezone. Perhaps I have added to the confusion in the past by listing my timezone information when I am looking for information about why returned WU's are not appearing. If I understand you correctly = when UTC is 12 noon, then Stanford is 5am and therefore I would be 10pm all on the same day.

That sounds right. Of course it can be even more confusing 12 hours later (at 00:00 UTC) when the dates are different, too -- California is at 5pm "yesterday" when you're at 10am.

After reading Bruce's response I thought that trying to keep track of all the different timezones was difficult and perhaps the best course of action was to have a BEX and lay down, now I definitely need that lay down, with the thought of reliving that day redoing the same things over.
