Hi
Is it possible to run the ATI and Nvidia GPU2 client at the same time?
I'm after a three monitor set up, currently I have a HD 4850 installed with two monitors attached, for a third display I obviously need another graphics card. Since used 8800GTs are so cheap, I could get one of them to run the third monitor and fold at the same time, if it's possible.
Thanks!
BTW, running windows Vista HP x64.

Re: Nvidia + ATI GPU2 client at the same time
It's problematic at this time, I wouldn't run them together.
Read this thread: nVidia-client without ATI-WUs ?
You could get the NVIDIA card and run it alone for better PPD than your getting with the ATI card alone. Though, I believe you would need to make the NVIDIA card the primary card.

Would I still be able to game using the HD 4850 if I make the NV primary?

Games will default to the primary card - the first available display. Some may have a way of being moved to another display, but I wouldn't rely on it.

Hmm, slightly disappointing but I got a better plan. I'll buy a 8800GT for the media PC and swap it's HD 3450 to power the third monitor, problem sorted
Thanks for the help.
