Client is showing another user's account

Hello, I have been folding for a short while, but when I logged in today I found out that my name was changed to JosephMeany and my team had changed to HuffPaint Co uffffffc2uffffff. My team was default and I haven't tinkered with any settings. Even my dark/light setting was changed. I don't know how to attach an image here but it is pretty weird. I think maybe it was because of my name "DeezNutz69420"? But even though if it was inappropriate I don't think they would just log me into someone elses account. I would love to see your thoughts.

After logging into the 8.5.5 client this morning, it is now showing the list of machines for user bollix47. It correctly showed my account yesterday.

The log has some errors like this:

I'll just have to chime in on this.

I also have this problem, and apparently my account is deleted / disabled (at least wrt to logging in).
My machines still fold and download / upload from / to my registered team and user.
Looking at my Donor statistics on https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/id/... shows that WU's are still credited to my account.
Trying to log in I get the following error message: DB Email address not found

As OP said, I get a different user ID each time I try to list my machines, and in fact it seems that I'm able edit those random accounts

What is status on this?
Do I really need to establish a new account and link my machines to the new one?

Ah, OK. thank you for the update.

However I still can't log into my account.
I got the following message when attempting to upload an Avatar image in Account Settings:

Saving account data failed
DB Invalid login ID
Save Failed
Failed to save account settings: DB Invalid login ID

I also get a message saying that email address is missing ...

Hey, sorry I'm not sure where to post. I'm fairly new to this, but I have a few old PCs I've repurposed for my homelab and this seemed pretty easy to set up, so I've been donating regularly for the last month or so.

This morning when I turned on one of my PCs and visited https://v8-5.foldingathome.org/, I found myself logged in to the account of a user named toTOW. I also had access to their account settings, was able to view their passkey and token, and was even given the option to delete their account. I did take a screenshot but unfortunately, double checking now, it seems I have been logged out of their account. Still, it's pretty bad for that to happen at all, felt like I should say something.
