Since my report above had the same info I turned off Cores 1,2,4, and 8 in one work unit for 10 frames. TPF averaged 3.5% LONGER than when all Cores were active running in FahCore_a8.exe. So it appears on my machine, it makes sense to let all ten cores fold, at least with this one WU.

That's really impressive! I didn't expect E-cores to perform so much better.
I think it would still be more productive to run a 6 thread WU on P-cores and a 4 thread WU on E-cores, but you will actually get less PPD with this setup because of how points system is designed.
