Are you using http/https proxies?

I'm not sure what that means.
The browser is pointing at https...
That console dump appears to suggest that the service is starting and running for a fraction of a second and then stopping...

After a little searching, it seems xpcproxy is possibly both a part of macOS security and a bit of adware installed in multiple browsers.

I see that same notice about xpcproxy in launchd.log when fahclient starts. It's definitely part of MacOS, in /usr/libexec.

One thing that's different - I don't see that message about "deferred event: domain spawn response"; instead a couple lines down I see "job state = running". I did have a work unit already in progress that I stopped & restarted, though, so maybe that would explain the difference.

I am half wondering if macOS 26 is using a newer version of some database than is used by the client installer code. That could cause a problem reading that.

I have had no issues installing & running the 8.5.4 beta client on my Mac running Mac OS 26.

If you haven't already tried deleting the entire /Library/ApplicationSupport/FAHClient folder & all its contents, that would be my next suggestion. You'll have to set the client up again from scratch with your username, team, and passkey, but that might clear out whatever corrupt database it's complaining about.
