Restarting FAH
I was out of folding for a while after a bit of a meltdown in my open cooling loop. Now that I'm back up, I loaded the new client.
This rig, pre-meltdown, would generate about 20m ppd. Since I got it working again, its running about 9-11m ppd. I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Any and all thoughts welcome... I'm used to the old console, is it still around?

Re: Restarting FAH
I really doubt you were generating 20m with v6 client.
And client version has no influence in PPD

Re: Restarting FAH
Which completely ignores the fact that a 4090 can and will produce 20M PPD or more on average.
OP, if you just restarted it today, it's probably just a lack of a suitable work unit. There have been reported shortages for work units for the faster GPUs, so the ones you do get might take a dive on points until some new/old projects are added that are more in line with your hardware.
Fold them if you get them!

Not on V6 it won't, which didn't even have GPU support back thenBobWilliams757 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 3:55 amWhich completely ignores the fact that a 4090 can and will produce 20M PPD or more on average.

Re: Restarting FAH
Why do you think they were using v6?

Re: Restarting FAH
They used to.
Because they asked if there is a console version of the FAHclient.
Last console client was v6
Re: Restarting FAH
I misspoke. I meant the FAHControl program rather than console. My system went down in April or May. I was using a version 7 client I think. I got 20m at times, but not always. Thanks for your thoughts on the situation BoB, Muziqaz, calxalot, and Joe.

Have you entered the passkey? This gives extra bonus points but it takes about 10 days before that starts to show in the stats.

10 WUs not days, and that only applies if a new passkey and username combination is used.

Re: Restarting FAH
V8 has advanced mode which is near feature equal to v7
