Stuck at Core status

Hi,

I'm new. Well, tried F@H in the past but got into it again the last week or so. Has been working fine but seems completely broken now.

I've been stuck at this for hours now.



Also, I can't link my machine to my account. When I go into settings and click the link which says "Link machine to this account" nothing happens.

I've reinstalled the client so many times now I've lost count. I'm currently on the beta of 8.4.9.

Am I doing something wrong here? I want to get back to folding.

There are two possibilities. One is that the WU downloaded needed a folding core it had not already downloaded for another project and the download is being blocked by anti-malware software on your system. The second would be that there is an issue on the server where the folding cores are stored for download, and the client request is not going through. We would need a post of a section of your log file showing an attempted core download to distinguish between those.

Yes, there is an issue with servers. Something broke. Issue has been reported to the dev
