core error download

hi the past two night this error has occured, this problem takes a very long time to sort it self out. i am using the graphical version of folding home on windows vista i do download at the same time, can any one help me fix this problem or should i use the screen saver version of F@H

Welcome to the forums!

Firstly if you have installed Folding@home into the program files directory, you will need to uninstall it and reinstall into another directory (we normally recommend C:\Users\YourUserName\FAH or something along those lines). If it is not installed in program files, or if you still get this problem afterwards, can you please copy the first 30 lines or so of the log file (showing the client start up), and a section showing the download failure.
