Hello ,
i have installed v7 on a SBC since it would allow for easy install;
how could monitor the progress , is there such a site like v8.4 that allows for viewing the statistics of the computers that run v7 of the client?
on the v.8.4 folding webpage all the computers that are running v7 do not show up, unfortunately.
also, since the v7 on arm64 runs headless, how i track the progress on the SBC itself?
installed "fahclient" but there is no such command after install;
it would ask for username, team, passkey and then wether it should do light-medium-or full task, but afterwards there seems to be little control.
thanks.
(arm64)(v7) statistics possible?

V8.4 is not compatible with v7. And v7 is no longer supported or updated.
V7 has web UI, but it is nowhere near the functionality of V8.4

Correction, the v7 client is still supported. But it has not been updated in nearly 5 years. End of support has not been announced by the Folding@home consortium, but newer features on the servers may not work correctly with v7. Mostly that is the stats API for now.
The v7 client can be configured for remote monitoring and control from another system with the v7 FAHControl installed. There are topics covering that in older posts here.

Re: (arm64)(v7) statistics possible?
the fahcontrol is not available for arm64.
at the moment i am testing v7 on a pc server running windows server 2012 - 2022; since v8.4 would start some project, but after some time no more receiving any jobs, don§t know why, so i hope with v7 it could be meliorated;
also, tested v7 on a mac, and it had a very nice UI, with lots of graphics to show what happening;
not that i dislike (still newbie) the progress, but it seems there could have been some good features ported over from v7, if am not mistaken.
so basically, there is no stats page that would allow for monitoring a mult-system v7 fah-computer setup without fahcontrol or even with it?

FAHControl does not need to be running on ARM64, you could use it from any Linux, Windows, or macOS system. Main issue is the distributed version is written in Python 2.7. Many recent Linux distributions do not have legacy support for 2.7. Someone did take the open source code a few years ago for FAHControl and updated it to Python 3. That is available on GitHub, links have been posted here in the past.
There is a 3rd party monitoring tool, HFM.net, that can be run on a Windows system to connect with clients on other systems using v7. It may or may not get updated to work with v8 clients. It has options to create output to a webpage from what I understand, but I haven't used it.
The v8 client and web control is open source on GitHub. Some feature requests have resulted in additional ones showing up in the current release.
