I have a Blackmagic eGPU thats connected to a Surface pro with Windows 11 PRO. Drivers for the eGPU are installed and is working. F@h v 8.4.9 is installed, and I have chosen to fold on the eGPU. I only have the web control available, and I cant find the advanced control anywhere.
The folding starts and the fan on the eGPU starts running, but it seems like it pauses after about 15 minutes. In the web interface it has tried to do several projects, that all have failed. I thought it was something about the power settings on the computer that made it stop, but nothing have helped.
Any tips on how to make it keep on folding when the computer is not in use?

Re: Problems folding on eGPU
There is no separate advanced control for v8. Under the machine settings, the gear icon, check to see if Keep Awake is checked off. Beyond that I don't have any suggestions as I don't currently use Windows for folding. Responses may be slow as the forum is having some issues.

Re: Problems folding on eGPU
Log files might reveal what is actually happening. I really doubt your eGPU is falling asleep. More likely that it is failing WUs one after another at which point fahclient steps in and pauses that device for it not to cause any more harm to the project.
Screenshot of System Info within web UI would also help, alongside of the logs.
And full system info never hurt anyone when troubleshooting the issues
